Buntáistí agus feasacht na Gaeilge i lár an Aonaigh

Bhí Forbairt Feirste i measc réimse leathan eagraíochtaí agus comhluchtaí a raibh an deis acu a gcuid seirbhísí agus táirgí a chur chun tosaigh le daltaí scoile ó gach cearn de thuaisceart na hÉireann ag an aonach bhliaintiúl dá lá ‘Opportunity Europe and Beyond’.

Rinneadh an aonach agus an deis taispeántais a óstadh ag Rannóg na hEorpa de chuid Chomhairle Bhéal Feirste ag Margadh Seoirse,  Deireadh Fómhair an 16ú agus an 17ú. Tugann an t-imeacht seo, an t-aon cheann dá leithéid i dtuaisceart an hÉireann, ardán dár nascanna leis an Eoraip agus d’ áiteacha níos faide i gcéin agus déanann sé na daltaí a freastálann air a chur ar an eolas faoi na deiseanna atá ann maidir le bheith ag obair san Eoraip, ag déanamh obair dheonach san Eoraip nó ag taisteál ar fud na hEorpa agus níos faide.
Tugann an imeacht deis do dhaltaí ó achán chúlra fosta, agus spreagann sí iad, chun níos mó eolais a fháil ar chultúir éagsúla na hÉireann, na hEorpa agus níos faide i gcéin.

Ag croí-lár na himeachta tá cur chun cinn iolrachas teanga agus cultúir i gcomhthéacs a tugann ardán dár nascanna Eorpacha agus idirnáisiúnta.

Opportunities and awareness of Irish at the heart of the fair

Forbairt Feirste was among a wide range of organisations which had the opportunity to advertise their services and promote their products to pupils from across the North of Ireland at the annual ‘Opportunity Europe and Beyond’ two-day fair and exhibition.

The exhibition and fair was hosted by the European Unit of Belfast City Council at St Georgre’s Market Belfast on the 16th and 17th of October. The event, the only one of its kind in the North of Ireland, highlights our European links and helps participants find out about working, studying, volunteering and travelling throughout Europe and beyond.
The event provides an opportunity and encourages pupils froma range of backgrounds and schools to sample the different cultures of Ireland, Europe and beyond.

At the heart of the event is the promotion of linguistic and cultural diversity and highlights our European and international links.
