Forbairt Feirste are delighted to announce the opening of An Nasc, our new £350,000.00 purpose built centre at 199 Falls Road, Belfast. As well as Forbairt Feirste's offices An Nasc houses An Telelann(www.Telelann.com) - an Irish language community business that provides translation, administration and IT training services and Iontaobhas na Gaelscolaíochta (www.iontaobhasnag.com)- a Trust for Irish Medium Primary schools.

An Nasc has been funded by International Fund for Ireland, Belfast Regeneration Office and Foras na Gaeilge, the project also received substantial community support through Forbairt Feirste's Buy a Brick campaign.

An Nasc was officially opened by Gerry Adams and Maighréad Uí Mháirtín, chairperson of All Ireland Irish Language body Foras na Gaeilge on Friday 1st June 2001. Willy McCarter, Chairperson of International Fund for Ireland and George Mackey, Director of Belfast Regeneration Office, also took part in the opening ceremony.
