Gnó le Gaelige

Forbairt Feirste is working to promote Irish in the business world and to create employment opportunities for Irish speakers. Our latest project "Gnó le Gaeilge/ Irish means Business" aims to promote the use of Irish in the Business Sector, both Private and Public.

As part of Gnó le Gaeilge, Forbairt Feirste have launched a new campaign "Dorchla na Gaeilge / The Irish Language Corridor" which aims to create a bilingual corridor along Belfast's Falls Road.

Home to numerous Irish Language Organisations, Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich, An Nasc, Meánscoil Feirste and Glór na nGael, also the nursery schools and the primary schools providing Irish Language education, to name but a few. The Falls Road is recognised nationally and beyond as the heart of Belfast's vibrant Irish Language community.
